Sun, beach and sea: Relax on Nyali<\/a> Beach Mombasa on the Indian Ocean with palm trees and a fine, white sandy beach. It can be endured here.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During my trip to Kenya, I also planned a few days in a hotel in Nyali. I spent five nights at The Reef Hotel Mombasa. The hotel is located in Nyali, a suburb of the port city of Mombasa. The Reef Hotel is located directly on the Indian Ocean, but also has a very nice large pool with a bar right by the pool. Here at Nyali Beach you can go swimming in the ocean, take a walk on the kilometer-long sandy beach or enjoy a drink in one of the beach bars. Highly recommended and located directly at the Reef Hotel is the Moonshine Beach Bar with a beautiful outdoor area. And in the evening there is also a lot going on in the Moonshine Bar, especially on weekends, of course.<\/p>\n

Of course, here on Nyali beach one has also prepared for the tourists. There are numerous stalls and shops where you can buy jewelry, art, and souvenirs. And even on the beach you will be approached by traders from time to time and you will be offered all sorts of different things and goods for sale.<\/p>\n

In general, it can be said that there are tons of beautiful beaches and areas along the Kenyan coast. The region around Mombasa, i.e. Nyali Beach, is particularly popular with foreign tourists, but also the area a little south of Mombasa near Ukunda on Diani Beach<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Most hotels on Nyali Beach of course also offer a shuttle service to and from Mombasa Airport and Mombasa Terminus<\/a>, if you travel by train from Nairobi to Mombasa like me.<\/p>\n
